The results of this year’s Big Plastic Count reveal a shocking reality: the UK is facing a plastics crisis.

Every year, UK households throw away billions of pieces of plastic packaging, most of which is burnt rather than recycled. And with global plastic production set to triple by 2060, the problem is only getting worse.

That's why we're taking the results directly to Parliament.

On 1 July, MPs will hear first-hand about the scale of the UK's plastic problem and the urgent need for government action. We need as many MPs as possible to understand the urgency of the situation – and the role they can play in tackling it.

But they need to be in the room to hear it.
